Queensland have claimed an easy 191-run victory in their Bupa Sheffield Shield match against South Australia at the Gabba.
The Bulls needed only the first session on day four to clear the deck of Redbacks, with pace duo Luke Feldman (4-50) and man-of-the-match Ben Cutting (3-51) doing the brunt of the damage.
SA managed to hold out just under an hour on a Gabba pitch that had dried out after two straight days of Brisbane sunshine - not aiding the Bulls' cause.
After resuming at 2-111 and chasing 463 for an against-the-odds win, the incumbent batsmen Callum Ferguson and Phil Hughes both looked entirely comfortable at the crease.
But Queensland's frustrations were short-lived as the next five South Australian scalps fell for just 18 runs in just 32 balls.
Cutting made the breakthrough with his first over of the day, tempting the sturdy Ferguson (44) into a drive that he feathered to Cameron Boyce in the gully.
That ended a stubborn 90-run partnership between the two, who were the Redbacks' only realistic hope of seeing out the day.
Then the dominos started to tumble, and quickly.
For the second straight innings, a rejuvenated Hughes was again dismissed just short of a century after poking Feldman down the throat of second slip Andrew Robinson for 83.
Sam Miller wasn't far behind him, bowled by the same man off an inside edge for zero, his first innings score of one saving him from a pair but not embarrassment in his Sheffield Shield debut.
Feldman's next ball, an over later, punished SA wicketkeeper Tim Ludeman (golden duck) for an abysmal leave that destroyed his off stump.
He came so very close to a hat-trick, but hardy quick Joe Mennie was able to squeeze his terrific yorker down for fine leg - only just.
In between, Cutting claimed young gun Travis Head (17) courtesy of a terrific reflex catch from Wade Townsend at short leg.
It was Cutting's 100th first-class wicket.
Mennie and Nathan Lyon were able to wag the South Australian tail ever so slightly with a fiery 56-run stand for the eighth wicket - but the latter was trapped leg before by Alister McDermott on 21.
Boyce also joined in the wicket-taking festivities, grabbing Chadd Sayers lbw, before Gary Putland inevitably fell for just three to make the Bulls' victory official.
The last South Australian standing was Mennie, whose unbeaten 79 was his highest score in first-class cricket - his previous best was just 15.
Queensland will be back at it on Wednesday with another home Sheffield Shield encounter against Victoria, while the Redbacks will play host to the Bulls in their next outing at Adelaide Oval from October 23.
