Australia's Michael Clarke and Mike Hussey both boosted their positions in the ICC Player Rankings after the first Test against South Africa.
Clarke's 259 not out at the Gabba saw him rise two places to fourth in the batting rankings while Hussey is also up four spots to 13th.
Meanwhile, South Africa all-rounder Jacques Kallis has risen to third after his 147 in the first innings.
Kallis' team-mate Hashim Amla shored up second place after another century on the batting friendly Gabba.
Sri Lanka's Kumar Sangakkara still tops the standings with a 16-point lead over Amla.
There is no change at the top of the bowling rankings with South Africa's Dale Steyn in top spot from team-mate Vernon Philander and Pakistan's Saeed Ajmal.
Outside of the top 20, Australia's James Pattinson moved up five places to 26th while team-mate Nathan Lyon rose to 32nd.
The Test player rankings will be updated again following the current Test between Bangladesh and West Indies in Dhaka, the first Test between India and England in Ahmedabad and the first Test between Sri Lanka and New Zealand in Galle.
