Tasmania Roar have chased down South Australia Scorpions' 7-118 to claim a thrilling five-wicket win in their Women's Twenty20 in Adelaide on Friday.
The Roar needed five runs off Megan Schutt's last over and after a first-ball wide, Belinda Page (five) hit a four to the gully ropes to give Tasmania the victory with four balls remaining.
Carly Ryan led Tasmania's scoring with 46 runs and Emma Thompson added 38 from 36 balls - the pair combined for an 82-run opening partnership to set up Tasmania's reply.
South Australia's captain Lauren Ebsary bowled Thompson in the 12th over and later bowled Ryan playing across the line with three overs remaining.
Ebsary finished with 5-19 from her four overs, also claiming the wickets of Erin Burns (18) caught by Beth Morgan, Corrine Hall (two) LBW and Lindsey Da Costa (zero) cleaned bowled.
Winning the toss and electing to bat South Australia's Ebsary also top-scored for her side, hitting 56 runs from just 45 balls with eight fours, before being caught on the boundary by Thompson off the bowling of Erin Burns (2-27).
Morgan (10), Alicia Dean (10) and Rhianna Pete (13) all reached double figures but the trio were unable to capitalise on their starts against a consistent Tasmania bowling line-up.
Brooke Hepburn claimed Peate's wicket and went for just 11 runs from three overs, while Katelyn Fryett also bowled tightly, going for 20 runs from her five-over spell.
