The traditional form of cricket is usually played over a long period of time - around 40 or 50 overs in Junior Cricket and between 60 to 90 overs in Senior formats, depending on the grade.
At the elite level, traditional cricket is known as Test Cricket, with each team having two innings each to score as many runs as possible. Test cricket matches have a maximum duration of five days.
Junior Cricket is often played on Friday evenings, Saturday and Sunday Mornings, whilst Senior Cricket is predominately played on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
