Queensland’s domination of the Australian Indoor Masters Championships came to a halt on Sunday, with New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland claiming titles

Player of the match was Queensland’s Renee Lee with Player of the Series honours going to Victoria’s Briony Polkinghorne.

Chasing their seventh straight title, Queensland’s over 30’s were rarely troubled as they accounted for New South Wales 116 to 68.

Continuing the upsets, Victoria’s over 40’s Men completed a fairytale end of the week to come from fourth, after the preliminary rounds, to down the favoured Queensland.

Fielding first, the Victorian’s held the defending champions to just 48 before a disciplined effort with the bat carried them to 75 and the title.

Victorian players dominated the individual awards with Ray Cook named Player of the Grand Final and Peter Van Vegten Player of the Series.
