UPDATED 17 October, 2013 8:33PM AEST | by Cricket Australia 12

Cricket Australia (CA) advises that Doug Bollinger was reported and suspended for breaching the CA Code of Behaviour in the RYOBI One Day Cup match between the NSW Blues and the XXXX GOLD Queensland Bulls today.

Bollinger was reported for breaching Article 2.2.7 – Throwing a ball at or near a Player or Player Support Personnel in an inappropriate and/or dangerous manner during a Match.

Bollinger pleaded guilty and accepted Match Referee Bob Stratford’s proposed penalty of one suspension point.  A Code of Behaviour hearing was not required as Bollinger pleaded guilty and accepted the sanction. This was Bollinger’s first offence in the past 18 months.

Bollinger is now suspended from the NSW Blues’ next RYOBI One Day Cup match against the Commonwealth Bank Bushrangers at North Sydney Oval on Sunday, 20 October.
