Zampa breaches Code of Behaviour

UPDATED 20 October, 2013 6:13PM AEST | by CRICKET AUSTRALIA 4

Cricket Australia (CA) advises that Adam Zampa was reprimanded for breaching the CA Code of Behaviour in the RYOBI One Day Cup match between the West End Redbacks and the XXXX GOLD Queensland Bulls yesterday.

Zampa was reported by umpires for breaching Article 2.1.4 – Using language or a gesture that is obscene, offensive or insulting during a match.

Zampa pleaded guilty and accepted Match Referee Peter Marshall’s proposed sanction of an official reprimand.  A Code of Behaviour hearing was not required as Zampa pleaded guilty and accepted the sanction.

This was Zampa’s first offence in the past 18 months.
