Indoor champs finals to be live streamed

Cricket Australia today announced that the finals of the Australian Open Indoor Championships, to be played tomorrow and Saturday in Brisbane, will be streamed live on

Cricket Australia’s Executive General Manager Game and Market Development Andrew Ingleton said that this was a great initiative for CA to showcase the best indoor cricket talent in the country.

“There has been some excellent indoor cricket on display at Inside Sportz Strathpine in Brisbane throughout this week, and tomorrow’s and Saturday’s finals will showcase the best indoor cricket talent of the tournament,” Ingleton said.

“To provide our elite indoor cricketers with added exposure by streaming the finals live to is great for developing our game and for indoor cricket, and as such this is an important investment.”

“We are proud of our indoor cricket programme and of the high standard of cricket being played in the current Australian Indoor Championships. So to give cricket fans and the almost 200,000 people across Australia who play indoor cricket the opportunity to see the best teams in our competition live via our website is a wonderful thing,” Ingleton concluded.

CA has invested $20,000 to have fixed cameras at the Finals of the Championships, which will be beamed live, and accompanied by audio commentary on the Saturday.
