Cricket Australia (CA) today advises that Shaun Marsh will return to Australia tomorrow after sustaining a right hamstring strain in the ODI series against England.
Commenting on the injury, Cricket Australia Team Doctor Peter Brukner said: “Shaun sustained a right hamstring muscle strain in the fourth ODI in Cardiff and today had an MRI scan which confirmed the diagnosis. Shaun will now return home to Perth tomorrow for further treatment.”
Marsh was scheduled to fly to India for the Karbonn Smart Champions League Twenty20, however following the injury he was withdrawn from the tournament by the Perth Scorchers.
