In a reflective mood remembering one of the nicest blokes I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Raising a glass to our friend Con de Lange.#RIPmate #Cohort14 #CricketFamily pic.twitter.com/bLeB5inXnw%E2%80%94 Jason Gillespie 🌱🌈 (@dizzy259) April 19, 2019

De Lange began his cricket career in his native South Africa in 1998, playing for Knights and Free State and had two years with Northants before playing for Ferguslie and Clydesdale in Scotland.
He captained Scotland to their first 50-over victory over an ICC full member in May 2017, hitting the winning runs as his side chased down 287 against Sri Lanka.
