2012 Allan Border Medal

The Allan Border Medal, named after one of Australia's greatest captains and cricketers, is awarded to the most outstanding Australian cricketer of the past season. 

The Medal is presented at an awards ceremony honouring the nations top cricketers. 

VIPs from within the Australian cricket community, international media and families of the cricketers are all in attendence.

The night has become the premiere event on the Australian cricketing calendar. The Allan Border Medal is considered one of the highest honours in Australian sport.

Votes are kept strictly confidential and are counted and audited by Pricewaterhouse Coopers.
