The Commonwealth Bank Shooting Stars recorded their second consecutive victory against Sri Lanka’s emerging cricketers on Saturday, with Alana King's remarkable 6-17 taking the tourists to a 100-run win in Colombo.

After electing to bat first, Australia lost opener Georgia Redmayne for three before Tess Cooper (57 retired) and Heather Graham (53) combined for a 95-run partnership to put the visitors back in control.

A stunning haul from Sri Lanka international Oshadi Ranasinghe (7-31) halted the Australians' momentum, before a handy 21 from Lauren Smith boosted the total to 187.

Sri Lanka made a strong start in reply, with Yashoda Mendis (19) and Anushka Sanjeewani (23) taking the hosts to 2-71 before a dramatic collapse saw them lose their remaining eight wickets for just 16, to be all out 87.

Spinner King was the chief destroyer for Australia with her incredible six-wicket haul coming from five overs, whilst Piepa Cleary was also impressive with two wickets.
