The former Australian wicketkeeper helped himself to another half-century
Haddin stars for Islamabad United
An unbeaten half-century to Brad Haddin and an inspired spell of fast bowling from Mohammad Sami helped Islamabad United stay alive in the Pakistan Super League on Saturday.
Haddin smashed 52 not out from 29 balls to guide Islamabad home in Dubai, after Sami had ripped through the Karachi Kings batting lineup with sensational figures of 5-8 from four overs.
Sami's scintillating spell meant Karachi could only manage 9-111 from their 20 overs and that was never going to be enough with Haddin in fine form.

The former Australia wicketkeeper hit four boundaries and three massive straight sixes during his entertaining knock, as he and Dwayne Smith (50no) eased past the victory target for a nine-wicket win with more than five overs remaining.
It was Haddin's second consecutive half-century, adding to the 54 he made in Islamabad’s previous encounter against the Lahore Qalandars.
The victory means Islamabad United progress to a sudden-death qualifying final against Brad Hodge, Shaun Tait and the Peshawar Zalmi on Sunday, with the winner of that clash to tackle Kevin Pietersen and the Quetta Gladiators in Tuesday's final.
