Christian, Russell star in England T20s

The Australian and the West Indian were on song for the Notts Outlaws

Australian allrounder Dan Christian was the hero as the Notts Outlaws defeated the Worcestershire Rapids to win their second game of the England domestic T20 season on Saturday.

Christian scored an unbeaten 53 from just 39 deliveries as the Outlaws successfully chased down the Rapids score of 5-164 with seven deliveries remaining.

While Christian was the mainstay of the Outlaws innings, West Indies allrounder Andre Russell provided the highlights.

Russell smashed three sixes and a four during his 25-ball innings of 41 as the Outlaws proved too strong.

Russell also made his mark with the ball, with the paceman finishing with impressive figures of 2-28 from his four overs.

The victory sees Notts Outlaws jump to fourth place on the T20 Blast table, while the Rapids are second.
