BCCI announce schedule for home series against New Zealand and confirm morning Test match start times
No day-night Test for Black Caps in India
New Zealand's tour of India later this year will not feature a first day-night Test on the subcontinent.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India announced the Black Caps will play three Tests and five one-day internationals in September and October, with the tour beginning three weeks after New Zealand's two-Test tour of South Africa.
There had been speculation one of the Tests would be the first played in India under lights. However, the BCCI confirmed all three would begin at 9.30am.
New Zealand will begin their five-week tour of India with the opening Test of the three-match series from September 22 at Kanpur.
