Former Australia quick takes up short-term bowling coach position with Kent
Gillespie returns to County Championship
Australia's dual County Championship-winning coach Jason Gillespie is to return to English domestic cricket with Kent for the early months of the new season.
The former Test seamer, who oversaw Yorkshire's back-to-back titles in 2014 and 2015, will join the staff at Canterbury in time for the start of the 2017 campaign on April 7.
"Obviously I moved back to Adelaide for family reasons last year but the opportunity to assist Kent on a short-term basis was one that I couldn't resist and works well with my current situation," Gillespie said.
"I look forward to helping (head coach) Matt Walker and (captain) Sam Northeast over the next couple of months until I hand over the reins to Allan Donald."

The 41-year-old will cover for former South Africa fast bowler Donald, who was appointed assistant coach two months ago but is still awaiting a visa to work in the UK.
"To get Jason on board is a brilliant coup for us," Walker said.

"To have an experienced ex-head coach come into our ranks is great for me and the lads.
"His bowling expertise is like-for-like with Allan."
Gillespie again coached Adelaide Strikers in this summer's KFC Big Bash and took the reins as bowling coach during Australia's T20I series against Sri Lanka, joining forces with former Test teammates Justin Langer and Ricky Ponting.
"As a member of the support staff, and I think I can speak for 'JL' and Ricky here, we're all jumping out of our skins to help some of the best players in Australia improve their games," Gillespie wrote for cricket.com.au ahead of the series last month.
