Pandey and Jadhav in good form but Mackay's weather washes away one-day match against South Africa A
Jadhav fires but rain wins the day
Only 35.2 overs were possible in the one-day match between India A and South Africa A in Mackay on Thursday as rain brought an early end to proceedings.
Play was halted with India A 4-140 having been sent in to bat with Kedar Jadhav on 41no and Sanju Samson on 0.
South African quick Andile Phehlukwayo (2-23) was once more the strike bowler in the attack, removing Shreyas Iyer (4) and Manish Pandey (47) just before the rain closed in.
On Wednesday, a wet and unsafe outfield led to the cancellation of the match between Australia A and the NPS.
The abandoned match will not be rescheduled and two points have been awarded to each side.
The remainder of the fixtures at Harrup Park will proceed as planned.
