Spin king takes credit for fast bowler's super Sixers performance
Starc, Warne, Healy saga continues
Shane Warne has revisited the comments he offered regarding Mitchell Starc during the Gabba Test after the paceman produced a lethal spell for the Sydney Sixers in their KFC T20 Big Bash League match against Perth Scorchers.
Starc clocked 150kph and clean-bowled two Scorchers batsmen in one over that Network TEN commentator Mark Waugh described as the "over of the tournament".
It prompted Warne to hark back to his Starc comments, which sparked a controversy during the second Test when it was claimed the legendary leg-spinner had described the paceman as "soft".
Quick Single: Warne clarifies Starc 'soft' comment
This time around, he took credit via Twitter for firing up the left-armer.
Be nice if Starc bowled in a test match like he does with a white ball. Awesome to watch & aggressive, my pleasure for firing u up. #BBL04

The left-arm quick said yesterday that Warne had been "on my back for years", while his partner, Commonwealth Bank Southern Stars wicketkeeper Alyssa Healy, was interviewed on the sideline during Starc's spell and explained that her previous defence of Starc on Twitter could be put down to the fact that she was "always in Mitch's corner and always will be" (see interview below).
Any danger of something positive….
