Bailey in as Australia unchanged

UPDATED 04 December, 2013 2:56PM AEST | by AAP & CA

George Bailey has retained his place in the Australian side for the second Commonwealth Bank Ashes Test in Adelaide.

Captain Michael Clarke faced a packed press conference at the Adelaide Oval, declaring his side would remain unchanged after the hosts' 381-run win in the opening Test in Brisbane.

Tasmania allrounder James Faulkner was thought to have been under serious consideration, given his ability to add variety to the bowling attack on what is expected to be a flat Adelaide wicket.

Yet Bailey, who made scores of 3 and 34 in the first Test, gets another chance at No.6.

Clarke also said Australia wouldn't change its aggressive approach from the first Test, which was marred by verbal clashes with the tourists.

"We will continue to play a tough brand of cricket on the field ... we all know there is a line we can't cross," he said. "We still have the ultimate respect for our opposition."
