Is this Pakistan's new spin king?

Boy goes viral imitating Ajmal and Afridi

A Pakistani child has set the internet abuzz with a prodigious display of spin bowling and, more specifically, his impressive imitations of national team tweakers Saeed Ajmal and Shahid Afridi.

The video has gone viral since its upload on Facebook and has been shared thousands of times by impressed cricket fans around the world.

Encouraged from behind camera, the young man turns a couple of full deliveries back in from outside off, mimicking Ajmal's controversial action, before adding few paces to his run-up and ripping a leg-break sharply away outside off; Afridi-style.

The boy completes his transformation into the former Pakistan captain with his last ball; crashing a leg-break into off-stump and raising his hands in the air - to the enthusiastic applause of onlookers.

Despite bowling from half-way down the pitch, the would-be international superstar gets considerable turn out of what looks like a relatively hard surface.

With Ajmal and Afridi approaching the twilights of their careers, Pakistani national selectors would be wise to keep an eye on this young man's development over the next couple of years.
