Marsh brothers ready to don Baggy Green

Shaun and Mitchell Marsh will be the first brothers to play for Australia since Steve and Mark Waugh

For the first time in more than 12 years, a set of brothers will don the Baggy Green together for Australia.

Shaun Marsh will join his younger brother Mitchell in the Australia XI for the second Commonwealth Bank Test against India at the Gabba, replacing the injured Michael Clarke.

It's the first time since Mark Waugh's final Test - when he played alongside his brother Stephen against Pakistan in October 2002 at Sharjah - that two brothers will represent Australia in a Test match.

"It's a great feeling. Me and Mitch have obviously talked about this for a long time," Shaun said on Tuesday.

"We're looking forward to it and it's going to be a lot of fun."
