Windies drop spinner for second Test

Sulieman Benn left out of Grenada Test squad after disappointing figures in Antigua

The West Indies have left spinner Sulieman Benn out the 14-man squad announced for the second Test against England in Grenada.

The giant left-armer had disappointing match figures of 2-200 in the first Test of this three-match series which ended in a draw at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua on Friday.

Quick Single: Holder guides West Indies to draw

For much of the opening match it appeared the home side were a seam bowler light and the hosts have now called up paceman Shannon Gabriel, leaving Devendra Bishoo as the only specialist spinner left in the squad.

James Anderson broke records, but Holder was the star on day five

The series opener was notable for England spearhead James Anderson breaking all-round great Sir Ian Botham's national record of 383 Test wickets and a gutsy maiden hundred by West Indies rising star Jason Holder that salvaged a draw on the last day.

The second Test starts at the Grenada National Stadium on Tuesday (Wednesday AEST).
