Australia Test opener David Warner continued his return to form ahead of next month's Ashes series with a typical swashbuckling century to lift NSW to a seven-wicket win over Victoria in the one-day cup on Sunday.

Warner and Peter Nevill put on a 202-run opening stand - a record for any wicket in this season's competition - as NSW mowed down Victoria's imposing tally of 8-311 with four overs to spare.
Warner made the most of North Sydney Oval's small boundaries, cracking 16 fours and five sixes in racing to 138 off 111 deliveries, before being trapped lbw by Test teammate Peter Siddle.
The left-hander opened the season with scores of 4, 0 and 17, before finding his straps with a big-hitting 139 against Queensland on Thursday.

Unhappy with suggestions during the week he may struggle to make the Test team for the Ashes, Warner made some pointed celebrations after making his century on Sunday and was prickly when asked about his own and Australia's one-day form.
Questioned about whether he'd seen any of the Australia-India series being played in the sub continent he said: "I'm in bed mate, at 8.30 at night time.
"I'm here to play cricket for NSW and it's good to see the Australian boys winning."
And the extended celebrations after his ton?
"It's called raising your bat to everyone ... it's just good to score runs for NSW," he said.
Warner's opening partner Nevill contributed an intelligent 53, while Steve Smith rounded out the match in style with a rapid unbeaten 65.
Earlier, Cameron White again pushed his claims for national selection, scoring a fifth half-century in as many innings.
White led the charge as the Bushrangers cracked a remarkable 14 sixes with White clearing the fence five times in scoring 50, before being caught on the boundary as his season tally reached 345 runs at an average of 86.
The powerful Victorian was particularly harsh on Nathan Lyon with his first six overs costing 43 runs, before the Australian off-spinner eventually finished with 0 for 68 off nine overs.
Victoria wicketkeeper and captain Matthew Wade also continued his bright start to the season with an impressive 85 off 81 deliveries, while David Hussey contributed a sparkling 71 off 52 as the run-rate increased dramatically late in the innings.
Opening bowler Josh Hazlewood defied the onslaught to collect 4-57 off his 10 overs, while Sean Abbott claimed 3-61.
The result guarantees NSW a top three finish and a chance to play-off for next Sunday's final.
