Gayle, Bravo to miss T20s

West Indies opener Chris Gayle will miss back-to-back Twenty20 internationals against New Zealand at Windsor Park in Dominica next week.

Gayle will be rested after battling a back injury throughout the current three-Test series which is tied 1-1.

Allrounder Dwayne Bravo, still recovering from a shoulder injury, is also unavailable for the matches on July 5 and 6.

However, Kieron Pollard, who has been kept out of international cricket since July last year with a knee injury, is set to return.

Bowling allrounder Christopher Barnwell is the only new face.

The West Indies will be skippered by Darren Sammy, who led the West Indies to the world Twenty20 title in 2012.
