Women's Ashes tickets on sale next week

Australia to take on ODI World Champions from October 22, with ticket sales to support local clubs and charities

Women's cricket is set for a blockbuster summer in Australia, and Cricket Australia today confirmed that tickets to the Commonwealth Bank Women's Ashes series will go on sale to the general public from August 10, while members of the Australian Cricket Family can get priority access from August 8.

The series will again be contested in the multi-format, points-based format beginning with a one-day international on October 22 in Brisbane, followed by two more 50-over matches in Coffs Harbour on October 26 and 29.

The series then moves to North Sydney Oval for an historic first day-night women's Test (November 9-12), before culminating in T20 international matches in North Sydney (November 17) and Canberra (November 19 and 21).

Australia are the current Ashes holders, having toured the UK and Ireland in 2015 and returned home champions via a 10-6 series points outcome, while England recently triumphed at the ODI World Cup on home soil.
