Bio

Liam Plunkett was able to revive his cricketing career after a move south, from Durham to Yorkshire.

His Test debut came in 2005 against Pakistan in Lahore and he played nine matches before being dumped from the national side.

He then made a return to the England Test team in 2014 where he took 5-64 against Sri Lanka in Leeds, his best Test figures.

His ODI career has followed a similar path to his Test career. He debuted in 2005 before being dropped in 2007, he then played two games in 2010-11 before another four years on the outer.

Plunkett debuted for England in T20Is in 2006 against Sri Lanka in Southampton.
