Bio

While regular success in first-class cricket has eluded him, Aaron Finch has been a star in limited-overs cricket for Australia, Victoria and Melbourne Renegades.

The opener's greatest international performance to date came in 2013 when he smashed 14 sixes on his way to a record-breaking 156 from just 63 balls against England.

He was also the unlikely hero playing for the MCC against the Rest of the World in 2014, hitting a match-winning 181 to steal the show from the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Brian Lara and Shane Warne.

While his spot in Australia’s ODI and T20 sides is secure, his lack of first-class runs for Victoria and Yorkshire means a Test debut has been put on the backburner.
