Bio

The subject of a tug-of-war between Australian Rules and cricket, Alex Keath opted for the bat and ball despite being courted by Gold Coast Suns.

A member of Australia's victorious 2010 Under-19 World Cup squad, Keath made his first-class debut for Victoria against the touring England side later that year, scoring 46.

A right-handed batsman who can also bowl medium-pace, Keath has struggled to secure a regular place in Victoria’s Sheffield Shield and Ryobi Cup sides, and has played just two Twenty20 matches for Melbourne Stars.
