Ama Kanchana made her T20I debut against West Indies in March 2013, followed by her ODI debut against South Africa a year later in October.
The medium pacer was part of Sri Lanka's squad for the 2016, 2018 and 2020 editions of the T20 World Cup.
Kanchana was particularly impressive in the ICC Women's World Cup 2017, scalping seven wickets in five matches as well as chipping in with the bat.
