A left-handed batsman and part-time wicketkeeper, Amjad Ali donned the coloured clothes for United Arab Emirates in 2008.
He scored 77 against Sri Lanka in only his second ODI appearance and has three fifties from nine one-day matches.
The 35-year-old Pakistan native’s best knock of 98 came against Afghanistan in early 2014, while Ali also showed good form leading into the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 in the series against Afghanistan in November 2014, with scores including 67 and 47.
Before relocating to the UAE, Ali played first-class cricket for Lahore Blues in Pakistan.
