Ashish Nehra made his first-class debut in 1997 and had to wait only two years before representing India in Test cricket.

He took 44 wickets with best-figures of 4-72 in his 17-match career that ended in 2004.

His ODI career lasted a little longer, playing 120 matches between 2001-2011, taking 157 wickets with a best of 6-23.

Remarkably, Nehra has played a T20I for India 13 years after his last Test. He has taken 34 wickets in 26 matches.
