Bio

A left-arm orthodox spinner who represented Australia at the 2008 Under-19 World Cup, Clive Rose joined Tasmania from his native Victoria in 2013.

The highlight of his early first-class career came in 2013, when he dismissed Steve Smith and Nic Maddinson on his way to figures of 4-64 against a star-studded NSW side in Sydney.

It came after he starred with the bat against eventual champions Queensland in the Ryobi Cup, hitting Test paceman Ryan Harris for four consecutive boundaries on his way to a match-winning 26 from just nine balls.

Rose played alongside Shane Warne at Melbourne Stars in the Big Bash League and held his cool on debut in the face of a brutal final-over display from West Indies powerhouse Kieron Pollard.
