Bio

Young, talented and on the path to the big time, Emily Leys brought plenty to the Sixers squad in the WBBL.

The former Gunnedah schoolgirl moved to Sydney to further her cricketing dream and made four appearances for the NSW Breakers in her debut season in the squad.

A left-arm medium pace bowler and handy middle-order batsman, Emily starred for the state at under-15, under-17 and under-18 level and is currently a member of the Gordon Women’s First Grade side.

Last season she led the first grade competition for most wickets taken.

Leys moved to the ACT Meteors squad in 2016-17.
