Erin Osborne burst onto the Australian domestic scene in 2008-09 and topped the wicket-taking aggregates in her debut season with NSW Lend Lease Breakers in the Women’s National Cricket League (WNCL).

Osborne was rewarded for her outstanding season with a call-up to the Commonwealth Bank Southern Stars for the Rose Bowl Series against New Zealand, making her international debut in February 2009.

In only her third international match she claimed 3-32 and her showing was strong enough to secure her a place in the squad for the 2009 ICC Women’s World Cup, which was held in Australia.

The off-spinner became a regular fixture in the national squad and tasted international success at the ICC Women’s World Twenty20 in the West Indies in 2010.

Osborne was an integral member of the team that won back-to-back titles in Sri Lanka, claiming career best T20 international figures of 3-13 in a group match against India.

The handy off-spinner was a member of the Commonwealth Bank Southern Stars team that enjoyed a golden six months, backing up their T20 World Cup victory with the ICC Women’s World Cup title in India in 2013.

Osborne had a consistent tournament, claiming career-best ODI figures of 3-9 from 10 overs against Sri Lanka in the Super Sixes stage of the tournament, which earned her the Player of the Match award.

The spinner ticked off another major accomplishment in 2015 when she helped the Southern Stars win back the Women's Ashes from England.

She has moved from NSW to play with the ACT Meteors in 2015-16, and has signed with the Sydney Thunder for the inaugural WBBL season.
