Gemma Triscari looks set to play for Australia at some point this year. The 23 year old has been steadily improving each season, and was rewarded with a game against the English Academy in August.
This followed her Shooting Stars debut, which saw her claim three wickets and two catches.
With 23 wickets in the 2011/12 season, Triscari took out the team’s Player of the Year Award, the Zoe Goss Medal.
Triscari has taken 33 wickets from T20 appearances, including a career best 3/26.
Her limited-overs record is slightly better, and she also boasts a haul of 4/31.
The athletic medium-pacer has done well to restrict scoring off her bowling, while her fielding is yet another string to her bow.
While she didn’t take any bags of wickets in 2012/13, Triscari consistently picked up a wicket or two in most matches. She also scored some handy lower-order runs.
