Player Story
Georgia Prestwidge comes from right cricketing stock – her father is Queensland allrounder and current Australia assistant coach Scott and the sister of Jack and Will.
Prestwidge debuted for Queensland in October 2014, and at the end of the 2015–16 season, she was named the Queensland Fire Youth Player of the Year.
Prestwidge made her the Brisbane Heat debut in December 2016 against the Sydney Sixers.
She decided to make a move south to the Melbourne Renegades ahead of WBBL|08 and a year later, signed a state contract with Victoria.
