Bio

Jerome Taylor was a surprise inclusion in the West Indies one-day international team in 2003, called up for a match against Sri Lanka after one game for Jamaica.

The paceman acquitted himself well on debut, taking 2-39, but had to wait almost three years for his next chance on the international stage.

After returning to the ODI team in 2006 Taylor became a central part of the bowling attack and played seven matches during the 2007 Cricket World Cup.

Taylor was recalled to the one-day team after a four-year absence in October 2014, putting himself in line for a second World Cup appearance in 2015.

He took 11 wickets in two Tests against England in April and May, including 3-36 and 3-33 in the West Indies' third Test victory.

Taylor has taken 130 Test and 121 ODI wickets and also have a Test match hundred.
