Joel Paris made his ODI debut against India in 2016, following impressive performances in the Matador Cup one-day competition for Western Australia in the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons.

A left-arm swing bowler, Paris represented Australia at under-19 level and has used this confidence to produce consistent performances in Sheffield Shield, and for the Perth Scorchers in the Big Bash League.

Paris has taken 35 wickets from just six first-class appearances, as well as, 25 wickets from 15 list-A games.
