Bio

In a one-day international career that has spanned 48 matches since he made his debut in 2011, Junaid Khan was given his first taste of World Cup cricket in 2011 when he was called into Pakistan's squad as a late replacement for Sohail Tanvir.

He did not play a game during that tournament, but has continued to build his career since, earning a reputation as a skilled seam bowler as he collected 75 wickets including his first performance in 2011 against Ireland, when he picked up 4-12.

Unfortunately for the 25-year-old left-armer, considered one of the country's most promising prospects in recent years, he sustained a thigh injury in training in January 2015 that forced him out of Pakistan's 2015 World Cup squad.
