Bio

When most NSW students were busy fretting about their HSC exams, Lauren Smith was making her debut for the NSW Breakers in late 2014.

She helped the Breakers to a bonus-point seven-wicket win over ACT in their first 50-over game of the season at Blacktown, finishing with figures of 4-35.

In addition to her next three wickets, Smith also held a difficult catch on the long-on boundary to complete a memorable debut.

A talented young off-spinner, Smith is also handy with the bat and in the field.
