Linsey da Costa has been the handywoman in the Tasmanian team for the past few seasons. The all-rounder has had to fill a variety of roles with both the bat and ball, but has handled everything thrown her way.
With 340 runs and 26 wickets to her name, da Costa has emerged as a must-have in the Tasmanian T20 side.
Her limited-overs career has been even more impressive, with da Costa scoring 238 runs and taking 18 wickets in 24 fewer games.
The South African born 25 year old had an excellent 2012 with the ball, while she added handy contributions with the bat.
She had a field day against the ACT, taking 2/29 in the WNCL and 3/18 in the T20 Cup.
The all-rounder backed that up with 3/31 and 15 (6) against Queensland to help set-up a thrilling win with two balls remaining.
Whether it is with the bat or ball, da Costa has the ability to win a game for the Roar.
