Sciver is poised to have a big influence in WBBL|01 with the 23-year-old already an experienced international cricketer. After several strong seasons for Surrey, Sciver made her debut for England in 2013 and had an immediate impact.

At the Women’s World T20 tournament in Bangladesh, Sciver was the second highest wicket-taker with 10 scalps, including a hat trick against New Zealand.

Sciver is also very good with bat in hand and is one of the biggest hitters in the women’s game.

In the 2015 Ashes series against Australia, Sciver earned herself two Player-of-the-Match awards performing with both bat and ball. In the third T20 International, she was especially dominant, taking 4-15 in first innings and scoring 47 in the second.
