Player Story

The strapping medium-fast bowler from Rajasthan was given his chance at a Test debut in July 2014.  

He made two appearances in the series against England, stepping in for an injured Ishant Sharma. 

Singh went wicket-less on debut but picked up two scalps in his second match at Manchester.

He made his first-class debut in 2003 and appearances for India A followed. His big break came when he was chosen for India’s one-day international tour of Zimbabwe in 2010 but Singh fell out of national contention after that until the 2014 England Test tour.
