Son of former international player Kepler Wessels, Riki has forged a dominant career over the past decade, amassing more than 12000 runs across all three formats of the game.
Spending his junior years in Australia and South Africa, Riki was never able to break into a national side opting to focus on a burgeoning first-class calling.
Playing predominantly in the English County Championship, Wessels also played for the Sydney Sixers in the BBL. The top-order batsman is also a wicket-keeper and has accounted for over 200 dismissals.
