Bio

This talented batsman broke into the Black Caps one-day international side in 2006 against West Indies.

His Test debut followed one year later against South Africa in Johannesburg and since then Taylor has carved himself a reputation as a prolific batsman in all forms of the game, with Test statistics that include 11 centuries and a top score of 217no.

Taylor was part of the Black Caps teams in the 2007 and 2011 ICC Cricket World Cups and his ODI high-score of 131no came in the 2001 tournament against Pakistan.
