To date, his most successful World Cup innings was against West Indies in 2007, when he scored an unbeaten 70.

In an ODI career that has spanned 69 matches, Williams has scored 1782 runs, including 17 fifties, but he has yet to break through for his maiden century.

A handy part-time bowler, Williams has 22 wickets to his name, and once took 3-23 against Bangladesh early in his career.
