Player Story

Sohail Tanvir made his international debut during the ICC World Twenty20 2007, acquitting himself well enough to earn a place in the one-day international team which played South Africa in October 2007.

The allrounder’s Test debut followed soon after against India and Tanvir collected the prize wickets of Rahul Dravid and Sourav Ganguly on debut.

Injuries have since caused major disruptions to Tanvir’s career, but the allrounder was included in the ODI squad for the December series against New Zealand.
