Bio

Stephen O’Keefe’s 2015/16 season had its ups and downs, but fortunately there were more highs than lows.

During the pre-season he was selected for Australia’s Test tour to Bangladesh.

Unfortunately that series was postponed but this meant that O’Keefe was able to play a part in NSW winning the Matador BBQs One Day Cup, grabbing eight wickets.

In First Class cricket O’Keefe took 17 wickets at 24.64.

However, the Blues didn’t see as much of him as they would have liked with a calf injury and broken finger limiting his involvement in the back-half of the competition.

One of the highlights of O’Keefe’s season would have been playing a Test match against the West Indies in front of his home fans at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

He made the most of the limited time in the middle during the rain effected game, finishing with 3-63 from 26.1 overs during the opposition’s first innings.
