Bio

Temba Bavuma made his first-class debut for Gauteng at just 18 and three years later made his debut for South Africa A.

The diminutive batter performed strongly for South Africa A in two consecutive seasons and was added to the Test squad to tour West Indies in 2014.

His Test debut was in that series where he struggled to find form. His maiden Test century came in 2016, where he made an unbeaten 102 against England.
