A former Australia Under-19 captain and member of the side that won of the 2010 World Cup, Tom Beaton hit 71 off 73 balls on one-day debut for Western Australia back in 2010, a record for a Warriors debutant.

Beaton first came to prominence as a 16-year-old debutant in Perth first grade cricket and for scoring 250 not out in the Western Australia under-17 championships.
